Dear Ones:
Johnnie sings with a wide range of soul in her own distinctive style. In “WE,” she’s an angel, dancing on the high-noted, Irish music, haunting and heavenly. She soothes and softly strokes our soul. (I think of her as Johnnie angel, with her angelic soprano). In the New Orleans blues-based, “A Change is Gonna Come,” the angel sings the blues. She gets down to where we all feel the gut-wrenching pains of life. Here she’s Johnnie blue note, as she reaches out and gives us hope. Johnnie has a beautiful voice and a distinct style. I think she is an exciting addition to the music scene. This is just the beginning of the great potential she holds.
